A native of Philadelphia, Barbara Goral, a paralegal student at the Community College of Philadelphia, has been interning with LCD for the past ten weeks. She became involved with LCD through the Community College of Philadelphia’s Paralegal Studies Internship Program.
1. What has been most memorable about your experience with LCD?
My experiences with the staff of LCD have been most memorable. I have much admiration and respect toward the staff and their hard work, dedication, persistence, passion, kindness, and commitment in providing legal services to those most in need.
2. What did a typical day at LCD look like for you?
As a paralegal intern, I assisted the attorneys in any way I could by drafting and filing legal correspondence and documents, contacting clients and outside personnel, legal research, and maintaining case records.
3. What would you like people to know about LCD that they might not?
I would like people to know that the staff at LCD not only has the legal experience to provide the services they do but also are driven by both dedication and kindness to go beyond what is expected. I could not be more proud to have been part of this legal team.
4. Where are you from originally and where do you live now? Where did you go to school?
I received my Bachelor in Social Work from Temple University in 2013 and I am graduating from the Community College of Philadelphia in May 2016 with a Paralegal Studies Proficiency Certificate and an Electronic Discovery Proficiency Certificate.
Thank you for everything Barbara!
